Central Portugal is not very well known but it very diverse and worth a few days. Visit Serra da Estrela if you want to experience a unique stay in a 5* Hotel with no kids (Casa de São Lourenço) and hike through the beautiful landscape. Don’t miss the city of Coimbra with its university (one of the oldest of Europe). We haven’t discovered a lot so far around this region. It’s still on our to-do list.
