Marmelada is forever my favorite jam. My grandmother used to make it when I was little. Somehow my mum never made it when we moved to Switzerland (I forgive you mum). So now it's my turn to keep up with the tradition - no excuses! I can't wait to serve my marmelada to my family when they'll be over for Christmas. I specially love quince jam with cheese, thank god I live in Switzerland. Bom proveito!
For 8-10 jam jars
1 kg quinces
100 ml water
800 g brown sugar
200 g white sugar
Peel the quinces and cut them into pieces.
Join the quinces, water and sugar together and cook over a low fire for about 30 minutes.
Blend and put aside for cooling off.
Fill up your favorite jam jar and done!
