When in Portugal in winter, I'm usually freezing inside the houses. They are not well isolated and sometimes not even really heated. The air is rather humid. In Switzerland on the other hand, it's freezing outside and your home is cozy and warm. Although, I really enjoy the coziness of a Swiss home in winter I also struggle with my dry skin. Therefore, I have to specially take good care of it.
I've been using soap made out of bio and natural ingredients from Portugal (including olive oil) for some years now and my body skin feels much smoother. In December 2019 I discovered the brand D'NATUREZA: handmade ecological cosmetics sourced in Serra de Lousã. Their products are made out of raw materials such as olive oil, vegetable oils and butters, essential oils and aromatic and medicinal plants. D'NATUREZA cosmetics are 100 % natural and do not contain any artificial preservatives, flavorings or synthetic dyes.
Essential oils are pure organic substances found in aromatic and medicinal plants, with fine scents. They also possess a wide range of therapeutic qualities, and when incorporated into the daily routine they can benefit physical, mental and emotional well-being. I love essential oils. I spray them on my pillow before going to bed or in my office when working or studying for exams. I specially react very positively to the scent of bergamot, orange and rosemary. They have a very calming effect.
The D'NATUREZA products that I've been testing have amazing scents. My favorite product so far is the body moisturizer with rockrose and rosemary. I apply it on my most dry skin zones as my legs and arms before going to bed. The moisturizer has a very pleasant texture: it's neither to greasy nor too liquid.
Another life saver during Swiss winter is lip balm. The D'NATUREZA Lip balms repair and
regenerate. They are made with butters and vegetable oils for a perfect hydration. I like the tickling of the peppermint lip balm. It boosts your lip blood circulation and gives them a rosy colour.

With extra virgin olive oil, rich organic oils and butters, clay, rosemary antioxidant and pure essential oils. My favorite scent: rockrose and rosemary.
Body moisturizer with the scent of lavender. With mango butter, shea butter, cocoa butter, vitamin E, apricot kernel oil, hazelnut oil, extra virgin olive oil, jojoba oil and pure essential oils.
Light and nutritious body oil with a carefully selected blend of vegetable oils that restore balance, leaving the skin moisturized with a silky touch. Apply to your body after a bath or in therapeutic massages. With sweet almond oil, hazelnut oil, vitamin E, extra virgin olive oil and pure essential oils. My favorite scent: lavender.
Repairing and regenerating lip balm made with butters and vegetable oils, for a perfect hydration. With cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamin E, sweet almond oil, hazelnut oil, extra virgin olive oil, beeswax and pure essential oils. Favorite scent: peppermint.
