O Travessa

When visiting a city, I tend to just check out the most central places and forget about the surroundings. This time, my local friends suggested to have Sunday brunch at O Travessa – it was delicious! They only serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday (opening 12am), kids are more than welcome! The space has a very cool atmosphere with lots of plants. You get a bit of a jungle feeling (specially when you sit in the glass cubical in the middle of the room and it starts to rain).

We decided to go with the O Travessa and Natural Brunch. We shared these (3 people) and there was still some food left! I specially loved the beetroot humus, the scrambled eggs and various freshly baked bread and pastry.

So, next time you‘re in Porto, take a morning bike ride alongside the river Douro, have brunch at O Travessa and ride happy with a full tummy back to the city! On a rainy day (like mine) an Uber will bring you there (about 10 min, 6-8 €).
